JR Spain is hiring a Video Editor and Content Creator for the Italian Market, based in Barcelona on a hybrid schedule. This role sits within the marketing department of Dealcar, a software company serving the used car dealership sector, and focuses on producing long-form YouTube content, short-form vertical video, and paid social ads targeted at the Italian market. It suits a bilingual editor who is equally comfortable in post-production workflow and on camera as a brand spokesperson.

About the Role

You will be one of the core content producers for Dealcar’s Italian expansion, working within a small international marketing team that includes Italian colleagues. A typical week moves between editing podcast recordings and tutorial videos for YouTube, cutting Reels, Shorts, and TikToks for organic social, and building ad creatives for Meta campaigns. The role requires someone who can own a piece of content from raw footage through to final delivery without heavy supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form video content including podcasts, product tutorials, and explainer videos for the Dealcar YouTube channel targeting Italian audiences.
• Produce and edit vertical format content such as Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts optimised for short-form video distribution.
• Cut and assemble paid video ad creatives for Meta Ads campaigns directed at the Italian automotive software market.
• Appear on camera as a brand-facing presenter for Italian-language content, bringing natural delivery and consistent screen presence.
• Handle post-production on all assigned projects in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, including motion graphics, pacing, and sound treatment.
• Create thumbnail artwork and supporting graphic assets using Photoshop to meet platform-specific requirements.

What You Bring

• Fluent or native Italian is required, with enough Spanish to communicate day to day with the Barcelona-based team.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects across a range of content formats.
• A demonstrable reel showing both long-form editorial work and short-form social video production.
• Natural, unforced on-camera presence with experience presenting directly to lens.
• A genuine understanding of what makes content perform on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, backed by your own consumption habits and creative instincts.

Why This Role

Dealcar is in active international expansion, and the Italian market effort is at an early stage, meaning the person who takes this role will have real input into how the brand is built there from the ground up. The company offers a hybrid model with remote working on Mondays and Fridays, flexible start times between 8:00 and 9:00, and early finish on Fridays at 15:00. Salary is negotiable based on experience and profile.
