About the Role

Sitting within the Central Operations department, the Video Editor & Camera Operator works across a steady slate of short-form branded content rather than a single long-running project. A typical day might involve travelling to a store location to shoot a franchise story, then returning to edit and colour correct that footage to brand spec. The output spans training video production, internal comms content, and campaign-supporting assets, all managed within a structured asset library.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on location shoots across UK and Ireland stores, capturing interviews, observational footage, and brand-led storytelling for short-form video production.
• Edit assembled cuts through to final delivery, applying colour correction and grade to meet consistent brand standards across all outputs.
• Manage and organise media assets within the department’s content library, maintaining clear file structures and version control throughout post-production workflow.
• Support photography shoots alongside video capture, providing stills that serve internal communications and franchise partner materials.
• Coordinate with Central Operations stakeholders to understand brief requirements and deliver content that aligns with training and brand objectives.
• Assist in maintaining production equipment, including camera kits and accessories, ensuring readiness for scheduled shoots.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a camera operator and editor across branded content, corporate video production, or short-form factual work.
• Proficiency in a professional non-linear editing system, with colour correction capability as part of your standard post workflow.
• A working understanding of media asset management and file delivery formats suited to internal distribution.
• Comfortable shooting solo or as part of a small crew, with good judgement on lighting and composition in real-world locations.
• A showreel or portfolio demonstrating edited work across multiple project types.
