Cella is hiring a Video Editor and Production Specialist on a hybrid contract basis, based out of the greater Chattanooga, TN and Dalton, GA area. This role sits at the intersection of on-set production and post-production workflow, with the editor handling everything from camera operation and audio capture on shoot days to assembling and finishing commercial and corporate video deliverables from home. It suits a working video professional who is equally comfortable pulling focus on a tripod and cutting a clean timeline in Premiere Pro.

About the Role

You will work embedded alongside an internal producer on a digital media production team, shooting corporate and brand content across Dalton, GA and surrounding regional locations like Cartersville, then editing remotely during post. This is a contract position running an initial 3 to 6 months with strong potential for extension, at up to 40 hours per week, though weeks will typically average between 25 and 40 hours depending on the production schedule. All camera, lighting, and audio gear is provided on set.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cameras, set up 3-point lighting rigs, and handle audio capture on corporate and brand shoot days across the Dalton and greater Chattanooga region.
• Assemble raw footage through rough cuts and fine edits into polished video deliverables across commercial web and digital channels.
• Work within Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve depending on your established post-production workflow preference.
• Apply motion graphics and title work in Adobe After Effects to elevate edits beyond a basic cut.
• Take ownership of color grading and audio mixing as you ramp up, delivering fully packaged final assets.
• Maintain organized project file structures and shoot media libraries throughout the production and post-production cycle.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience on both the production and post-production sides, with a clear understanding of how shoot decisions affect the edit.
• Strong working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with After Effects skills that go beyond basic title drops.

• Ability to drive to shoot locations in the Dalton, GA area, with reliable remote setup for editing phases.
