About the Role

The post-production team is a tight unit of three editors working in concert to serve a client roster built around HVAC, landscaping, electrical, and construction businesses across North America. A typical day involves moving through five to ten deliverables, spanning organic social cuts and branded visual assets, while pulling performance data to inform the next round of edits. The work is high-velocity and metrics-driven, with creative decisions anchored in watch time, click-through rate, and audience psychology.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit five to ten short-form videos daily that capture the working culture of trades-based businesses, optimised for platform-specific retention patterns.
• Engineer content for organic reach by applying trending audio selection, psychological hooks, and pacing techniques drawn from live performance data.
• Analyse post-publication metrics including watch time and CTR to diagnose why individual pieces succeed or underperform, then apply those findings directly to the editing process.
• Participate in creative workshops with the editor team to share technique, review performance trends, and raise the collective standard of the department’s output.
• Manage post-production timelines across both photo and video projects, maintaining brand consistency across client accounts without compromising turnaround speed.
• Work alongside account managers and designers to deliver finished visual assets for social media campaigns, websites, and paid advertising placements.

What You Bring

• Three to four or more years of professional video and photo editing experience, ideally inside an agency environment handling multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• A portfolio that demonstrates a track record of high-retention short-form content with measurable organic performance on TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro and the full Creative Cloud suite, including Lightroom, applied within a real production workflow.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace for file management and project organisation across a distributed team.
• Motion graphics or animation skills built for short-form social content, and familiarity with AI media tools such as Higgsfield, are a genuine advantage.
