About the Role

The VFX Production Lead for International Originals works within the Post-Production department, embedded across Amazon MGM Studios originals spanning scripted series and features produced throughout Latin America and Canada. Day-to-day, this person is tracking bids, managing vendor relationships across multiple time zones, and keeping post-production workflow aligned with both creative and business affairs priorities. It is a production-facing role as much as a technical one, requiring someone equally comfortable in a bid review as in a conversation with a showrunner.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end VFX production across multiple simultaneous scripted projects, from initial breakdown through final delivery.
• Build and manage VFX budgets, tracking actuals against estimates and flagging variances to production and business affairs in real time.
• Evaluate, negotiate with, and manage relationships with VFX vendors across LATAM and Canada throughout the full post-production workflow.
• Coordinate shot turnover, review cycles, and final deliverables between on-set VFX teams, vendors, and the internal post-production pipeline.
• Work directly with Production and Post-Production leadership to establish VFX schedules that align with picture lock and delivery deadlines.
• Communicate fluently in both English and Spanish across creative, technical, and business conversations with internal teams and external partners.

What You Bring

• Significant experience managing VFX production on episodic television or feature film projects at a studio or major streaming level.
• Proven track record managing vendor bids, production budgets, and multi-vendor pipelines across complex, high-volume slates.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with experience working across international co-productions.
• Strong familiarity with VFX pipeline tools, shot tracking software, and industry-standard post-production workflow practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain vendor relationships across different production markets and regulatory environments.
