About the Role

The Streaming Production Assistant works directly alongside Producers and Associate Producers on CBS Sports Digital programming, which spans live shows, podcasts, and event coverage across streaming, social, and mobile platforms. A typical day involves building and firing studio graphics, cutting highlights in Adobe Premiere, and prepping video elements for live digital production. The role covers multiple programs simultaneously, so you are expected to manage competing priorities across a live broadcast workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and fire live studio graphics during broadcast using Ross XPression as part of the control room production team.
• Capture, edit, and assemble highlights, one-plays, and interview packages in Adobe Premiere and other non-linear editing systems.
• Encode and publish video content for distribution across CBS Sports Digital streaming and digital platforms.
• Screen and organize raw video assets for use across live and pre-produced digital programming.
• Prepare scripts, graphics, and video elements ahead of live studio production under deadline pressure.
• Support special event coverage and breaking news programming as assigned by Producers.

What You Bring

• One or more years of experience in broadcast production, digital media, or a related live production environment.
• Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere and a solid understanding of video editing and encoding fundamentals.
• Familiarity with graphics systems, particularly Ross XPression, is a meaningful advantage in this role.
• A bachelor’s degree in communications, broadcasting, video production, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of professional and collegiate sports and an understanding of how sports content is packaged for streaming audiences.
• Availability for flexible shifts including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required by a live sports production schedule.
