FOX Entertainment is hiring for the Spring 2027 FOX Internship Program in Sports Production, based in New York, New York. This placement sits within live sports television production, supporting content developed for FS1 original programming and OutKick, with interns contributing to real broadcast workflows across one of the highest-volume live sports media operations in the country. This role suits an undergraduate or graduate student with a genuine interest in sports broadcast production and a working knowledge of the tools and formats that drive network television.

About the Role

Interns placed in sports production at FOX Sports work within departments that generate content for FS1, FOX Network sports coverage, and OutKick, a property operating under FOX News Media. Day-to-day work sits inside an active broadcast production environment, where output is tied to real air dates and editorial deadlines. The program runs from February 8, 2027 through April 16, 2027, at 16 to 24 hours per week, scheduled around coursework where possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting FS1 original programming production from pre-production through delivery, assisting with segment development and editorial prep.
  • Assisting producers with research, logging, and organizing footage within live sports television workflows.
  • Working inside broadcast post-production pipelines using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Avid, iNews, DaVinci, or Final Cut Pro depending on department placement.
  • Contributing to content developed for OutKick, including digital and on-air sports media formats.
  • Maintaining production documentation and supporting editorial teams during live sports broadcast coverage periods.
  • Interfacing professionally with on-air talent and network executives as production and scheduling demands require.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university at sophomore standing or above, with a strong academic record.
  • Familiarity with broadcast or post-production software, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, Avid, iNews, Final Cut Pro, or Dalet.
  • Working knowledge of FOX Sports and OutKick programming, talent, and the broader sports media landscape.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to a deadline-driven broadcast environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the organizational discipline that episodic television and live sports production demands.

Why This Role

FOX Sports reaches more than 100 million viewers in a single weekend and has carried the most-watched program on American television, NFL’s America’s Game of the Week on FOX, for fourteen consecutive years. The Spring 2027 FOX Internship Program includes access to FOX Master Classes, a professional development series, and direct networking with working professionals across the company’s sports media divisions. For students targeting a career in sports broadcast or live television production, the scale and volume of content here is difficult to match at the intern level.
