About Particle6:
Particle6 is an award-winning creative production company blending boundary-pushing storytelling with cutting-edge AI. From original TV series and documentaries to brand campaigns and immersive content, we use the latest AI tools to enhance the creative process across broadcast and commercial work.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a midweight to senior editor to join our team, with a strong background in narrative storytelling and a genuine interest in how AI can support and enhance the editorial process.
This role is for an editor with proven experience across film, documentary, television and/or premium digital content. As well as experience working across long-form projects, you must have confidence working with branded and short-form content where needed. You should have strong editorial judgement, a confident grasp of story structure, pacing and character, and the ability to work with large volumes of material to craft compelling edits.
As we have a number of exciting projects in development and production, you’ll need to be comfortable stepping into evolving AI-driven workflows. Prior hands‑on AI experience is welcome, but not essential. What matters most is a curiosity about emerging tools and a willingness to explore how they can strengthen storytelling, efficiency and creative ambition.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Editing and shaping long‑form content, development tapes and broadcast‑facing projects.
- Working with producers, directors and creatives to identify storylines, refine structure and build compelling narrative arcs from rushes, interviews, archive and other source material.
- Taking projects through the edit process from assembly to fine cut, notes rounds and final delivery.
- Cutting with strong editorial instinct, balancing pace, tone, clarity and emotional impact.
- Using Adobe Premiere Pro as your primary editing platform.
- Supporting the post‑production process, including basic grading, sound polish, versioning and delivery preparation where required.
- Collaborating across teams to integrate AI tools and workflows where useful in editing, asset creation, ideation, enhancement and experimentation.
- Contributing to visual development, mood boarding and creative exploration where relevant, particularly on projects using AI‑assisted production methods.
- Helping evolve and refine internal post and AI workflows, identifying smarter and more effective ways of working.
- Staying informed about new tools, techniques and editorial approaches across both traditional post‑production and emerging AI workflows.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 8 years’ professional editing experience, with a track record operating at midweight to senior level.
- Demonstrable experience editing narrative content.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop.
- Excellent storytelling instincts, with the ability to shape narrative, structure and character across both long‑form and short‑form projects.
- Experience working with large volumes of footage, including interviews, archive and multi‑strand material.
- Strong organisational skills and close attention to detail across timelines, media management, files and delivery workflows.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced production environments.
- Experience with, or a genuine interest in, AI tools such as Veo3, Seedream, Nano Banana, Comfy
UI, Midjourney, Eleven Labs and similar emerging technologies.
- A proactive, curious mindset and an interest in experimenting with new creative workflows and production tools.
Desirable:
- Experience across both broadcast and branded content.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted workflows in post‑production or development.
- Skills in grading, sound design, motion design or finishing.
- Experience working across development, production and post in a creative studio or production company environment.
