Cella, a Randstad Digital company, is hiring a Senior Motion Designer & Video Editor on a freelance contract basis, working remotely from anywhere in the United States. This role sits squarely in the post-production workflow of a healthcare marketing agency, where the output is omnichannel video content for major pharmaceutical brands, including motion graphics packages, edited campaign videos, and AI-assisted animation assets. It suits a motion designer who has worked inside an agency or corporate post environment and knows how to keep creative quality high while moving fast on deadline-driven deliverables.

About the Role

The Senior Motion Designer & Video Editor works within the creative production department, serving pharmaceutical clients who require strict adherence to brand and regulatory guidelines alongside strong visual storytelling. Day-to-day work involves building motion graphics in After Effects, cutting campaign edits in Premiere, and integrating 3D assets or generative AI animation tools into the post-production pipeline. This is a six-month contract with ongoing potential, positioned as freelance with full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute motion graphics packages and video edits using Adobe Creative Cloud, built to spec across multiple omnichannel media touchpoints including digital, broadcast, and social formats.
• Translate strategic messaging briefs from creative directors and account teams into finished video assets that meet both brand standards and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Integrate 3D assets and generative AI animation tools into the post-production workflow to extend the visual range of campaign deliverables.
• Maintain organized project asset structures and optimized production workflows to support rapid turnaround on high-visibility client campaigns.
• Act as a consultative creative partner across departments, contributing to visual problem-solving from concept through final delivery.
• Adapt complex, multi-version brand style guides across a range of video formats without losing visual consistency between edits.

What You Bring

• Four or more years of professional motion design and video editing experience inside a digital agency or corporate post-production setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere, with working knowledge of Cinema 4D or comparable 3D animation software.
• Demonstrated experience producing brand-aligned video assets under strict regulatory or legal review processes, particularly within healthcare or pharmaceutical marketing.
• Familiarity with generative AI animation tools as part of a production workflow.
• A bachelor’s degree in Motion Graphics, Video Production, Graphic Design, or equivalent professional credits in lieu of formal education.
