Senior Gen AI Solutions Engineer (VFX)

Experteer Overview In this role you shape and ship generative AI workflows for high-end media production. You’ll build and refine artist-facing tools that fit into production pipelines and work hands-on with node-based systems. You’ll collaborate with research, product, platform, design, and engineering to translate new capabilities into usable solutions. Expect ownership from concept to deployment, with impact across creative workflows and scalability of AI tooling. This is a high-visibility, autonomous position that blends creative and technical excellence in a production setting. Compensation / Benefits • Design, build, and iterate custom generative AI workflows with node-based systems (e.g., ComfyUI) • Prototype and refine artist-facing tools integrated into production pipelines • Write high-quality code to extend automation and tooling (scripting, backend services, pipelines) • Collaborate with research, product, platform, design, and engineering teams • Apply VFX domain knowledge to align solutions with real-world workflows • Incorporate feedback to improve usability, performance, and reliability • Own solutions end-to-end from concept through deployment and iteration • Contribute to engineering and workflow best practices for scalable AI systems Tasks • 7+ years of experience in creative tooling for VFX, animation, or high-end media production • Hands-on expertise with node-based AI systems (ComfyUI or equivalent) and customization能力 • Strong Python programming skills for building tools and automation • Practical understanding of diffusion-based generative models and inference trade-offs • Experience integrating AI tools into DCC applications (Houdini, Nuke, Maya, Blender, Unreal) • Experience designing and maintaining reliable systems in cloud or hybrid environments • Comfort with ambiguous problems and rapid learning of new tools • Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment and across time zones • Clear, thoughtful communicator bridging creative and technical perspectives Key requirements •
