Screenwriter (Vertical Drama / Mobile Series)

About the Role

Crumbii is a pre-launch influencer-led vertical drama platform, looking for a Screenwriter (Contractor) to work closely with our Chief Creative Officer as part of a team of writers to develop and polish existing IP for our first slate of vertical dramas.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and polish existing IP (screenplays).
• Adapt scripts to fit the vertical drama episodic format.
• Write strong hooks, cliffhangers, and episode endings that drive retention.
• Collaborate with the CCO on story structure, pacing, and dialogue.
• Revise scripts based on feedback quickly and efficiently.
• Deliver scripts within tight production timelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in screenwriting, with writing samples available for review.
• Understands story pacing, cliffhangers, and episode structure for the vertical drama format.
• Proficient in AI screenwriting tools (eg. NolanAI, Squibler).
• Works well in a team with the ability to take feedback objectively and apply it accordingly.
• Comfortable working in with tight deadlines/turnaround timelines.
• Flexibility to attend online meetings in a different time zone (GMT+8).
