We are seeking energetic and theatrical individuals to join our part time team as Scare Actors in the newest, year-round haunted attraction in Texas, The Scream Experiment! In this dynamic role, you will be the heartbeat of our haunt, engaging visitors with your creativity, enthusiasm, and spooky flair. Your goal is to create memorable experiences by embodying spooky characters, performing lively scares, and maintaining a fun yet safe environment for all guests. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your acting skills while spreading spooky fun! This part time role is a perfect match for students or anyone looking for a second income. Responsibilities

• Perform as a variety of themed characters, bringing them to life with lively movements, expressive acting, and engaging interactions.
• Execute well-timed scares that surprise and delight visitors while ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
• Interact confidently with guests of all ages
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate performances and ensure smooth operations throughout the attraction.
• Maintain high energy levels during long shifts, staying in character and delivering enthusiastic performances.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a fun yet secure environment for everyone involved.
• Ability to stand and recite memorized scripts for up to 8 hours a day.
• Willingness to wear a themed costume, mask and/or make-up, and wig for the entire shift.
• Willingness to apply latex based special effect makeup and imitation blood to your face, arms, and hands.

Experience

• Previous experience in theater performance arts is highly preferred.
• Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and guests.
• Demonstrated ability to perform active roles that involve physical movement and expressive acting.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
