Production Assistant

About the Role

Day-to-day work covers the full range of production support tasks, from building script books and camera cards to managing rundowns and production schedules in OneDrive. The contract runs December through January, making it a focused short-form live television engagement with a clear end date.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble float tour books, script books, and camera cards in advance of the live broadcast.
• Maintain and update production files in OneDrive, including rundowns, production schedules, and scripts throughout the pre-production period.
• Support the Production Coordinator and APOC with clerical tasks as needs shift during the production timeline.
• Provide telephone coverage and handle written correspondence at a professional broadcast standard.
• Perform research tasks as assigned to support the editorial and production workflow leading up to the live event.
• Work on location in Pasadena during the live broadcast, supporting the team through transmission.

What You Bring

• Prior experience in live television production, scripted broadcast, or a closely related production environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and OneDrive, all of which are used daily in this role.
• Familiarity with live show rundowns and broadcast scripts is a genuine advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once without losing accuracy or missing deadlines under real time pressure.
• Organizational skills sharp enough to anticipate what the production team needs before they ask.
