About the Role

Inkubator is Netflix’s internal operation focused on emerging technology and next-generation filmmaking methods, and this Producer is the connective tissue between its creative, technical, and operational sides. Day to day, that means running sprint-based production cycles, managing small agile teams, and working directly with technical directors and engineers to build GenAI workflows that can eventually scale to larger productions. Think less traditional animation studio hierarchy, more R&D production environment with real deliverables and stakeholder accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with directors and artists to develop production sprints aimed at generating high-quality, stylized imagery and nuanced short-form storytelling using Generative AI applications.
• Work alongside technical leads and engineers to evaluate and implement GenAI tools across image, video, and text-based use cases within functioning production pipelines.
• Build and maintain schedules and budgets across multiple concurrent projects, adjusting scope and resources as the exploratory nature of the work demands.
• Identify which GenAI workflows can be templatized or automated, and document methodologies in a way that informs future large-scale productions.
• Facilitate regular production reviews and stakeholder updates, presenting clear trade-offs and recommendations when schedule, scope, or resources require adjustment.
• Lead and mentor a small production management team while cultivating a culture of knowledge sharing and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

What You Bring

• Seven or more years of production experience in animation, visual effects, games, or digital media content creation.
• Working knowledge of GenAI applications, including a functional understanding of LLMs and LoRAs as they apply to production workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets and schedules across both small and large-scale productions, with proficiency in production tracking and scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with real-time engines, video capture, and 2D animation as methods for generating visual data to train AI models.
• A bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Production Management, or Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
