Job Type
Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring a Localisation Post Producer to join its team at 4-6 Soho Square in London. This role sits within the localisation and accessibility pipeline, taking operational ownership of Scripting, Transcription, and Audio Description production across WBD’s high-volume content slate. It suits an experienced post-production coordinator who understands how accessibility workflows fit into the broader episodic television and film delivery process.
About the Role
The Localisation Post Producer functions as the central coordination point between creative, editorial, and technical teams delivering scripting and Audio Description for WBD’s content portfolio. Day-to-day, this means scheduling voice talent and recording sessions, sequencing work across QC, mixing, and final delivery stages, and keeping multiple concurrent post-production workflows on track. The role operates on a hybrid basis from the Soho Square office, with working arrangements agreed with the line manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming Scripting and Audio Description requests from intake through to production scheduling, ensuring each project is fully actionable and tracked before it enters the pipeline.
- Build and maintain production schedules across transcription specialists, AD writers, Assistant Editors, QC teams, voice talent, recording facilities, and mixing resources.
- Sequence workflow dependencies across scripting, quality control, recording, mixing, and final delivery, making real-time adjustments when timelines shift.
- Coordinate voice talent bookings and recording sessions, aligning talent availability with facility bookings, technical requirements, and delivery deadlines.
- Track production milestones, identify scheduling conflicts or resource constraints early, and escalate delivery risks to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Support post-production handoffs through media movement, script version management, and project tracking across all active localisation deliverables.
What You Bring
- Demonstrable experience in post-production coordination, localisation, or a related operational production environment.
- Working knowledge of scripting requirements for adaptation and familiarity with accessibility workflows including Audio Description and Closed Captioning.
- Hands-on experience with production scheduling or workflow tracking tools such as Smartsheet, Airtable, or comparable systems.
- A track record of coordinating across creative, technical, and vendor teams on multiple concurrent projects.
- Experience working with talent or external production partners, with CPACC certification considered an advantage.
Why This Role
Warner Bros. Discovery’s content portfolio spans some of the most distributed film and television IP in the industry, meaning the localisation and accessibility work produced in this role reaches a genuinely significant audience. The Soho Square office places this position at the centre of WBD’s European production operations, with real exposure to end-to-end post-production workflow at scale. For a coordinator looking to develop serious depth in localisation post, this is a substantive role with the scope to match.
