Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into finished news segments that meet broadcast air standards and station editorial guidelines.
• Work directly with executive producers and reporters to shape visually compelling stories for both linear broadcast and mobile platforms.
• Manage and operate microwave and satellite signals, IFB, frame synchronizers, Dejero, and LiveU during live news production.
• Troubleshoot transmission issues and resolve technical problems with editing equipment in real time under deadline pressure.
• Organize and maintain video assets inside the station’s digital asset management system to keep the post-production workflow moving efficiently.
• Apply color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics integration to ensure segments meet broadcast quality standards before air.

What You Bring

• A minimum of three years of professional video editing experience, preferably inside a broadcast news environment.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to edit vertical 9:16 content optimized for mobile platforms using Adobe Premiere.
• Solid working knowledge of video formats, codecs, and broadcast signal management tools including Dejero and LiveU.
• Experience with color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics as part of a daily broadcast post-production workflow.
• Dalet Galaxy familiarity is a plus.
• A high school diploma is required for this position.
