Buddy is on the lookout for a junior videographer / photographer who’s hungry to learn, loves creating content, and wants to build a career in digital marketing!

We’re a bright, fun and approachable digital content & more company based in Adelaide, working with small to medium businesses across South Australia. From trades and construction to professional services and not-for-profits, we help brands show up online with confidence, consistency and personality.

Now, we’re ready to bring a new creative Buddy into the team.

Who this role is perfect for

This role is ideal if you:

• Have foundational experience in photo and video (study, freelance, agency, or personal projects).

• Want hands-on experience shooting real client work – not just internal content.

• Are early in your career and keen to learn, grow and be mentored.

• Care about doing great work, but don’t take yourself too seriously.

• Love people, stories, and making brands feel more human.

You don’t need to know everything yet – that’s what we’re here for.

What you’ll be doing

• Shooting photo and video content for clients across Adelaide and SA

• Editing content for social media, ads and digital platforms

• Working alongside our team to bring content strategies to life

• Capturing behind-the-scenes, testimonials, reels and brand stories

• Helping create content that’s bright, bold, friendly and on-brand

• Supporting internal Buddy content and campaigns

Every week will look a little different — and that’s how we like it.

What you’ll need

A portfolio (or examples) showing basic competence and creative potential

Working knowledge of:

• Adobe Lightroom

• DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro

• A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel to shoots

• A positive, professional attitude

• Someone who can take feedback, ask questions and keep improving
