About the Role

The Junior Videographer and Editor sits within a small production team at a construction-specialised agency, working directly under the Lead Editor with regular exposure to the two co-directors. Shoot days take you on location across Brisbane and South East Queensland, covering active construction sites, completed builds, and developer events, while edit days are based at the Acacia Ridge office. The production workflow covers full-cycle video production from capture planning through to colour grade and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Film on-site at construction projects and completed builds across Brisbane and SEQ, handling ground, interior, exterior, and aerial drone acquisition.
• Edit video projects from assembly through to picture lock, applying colour grading using the company’s custom LUTs and brand standards.
• Manage shoot prep independently, including equipment checks, kit packing, and on-site execution without a dedicated crew.
• Capture photography on location to support video deliverables and broader marketing campaign assets.
• Collaborate with the content team on capture plans and shot lists ahead of scheduled production days.
• Maintain post-production workflow standards across Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere Pro as required by each project.

What You Bring

• One to two years of professional experience in videography, editing, or both, or a strong portfolio built through study or personal production work.
• Working proficiency in Final Cut Pro, preferred, with practical knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Solid camera fundamentals across composition, exposure, audio capture, and location lighting.
• Photography skills that translate to commercial and construction content environments.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transport for regular location work across South East Queensland.
