About the Role

The Junior Video Editor supports the Non-Live Production team on Project B, working alongside senior and junior producers, fellow editors, and media managers to deliver content across multiple formats and platforms. HBS produces host broadcast coverage for major international sports events including the FIFA World Cup, and this role contributes directly to the content pipeline feeding broadcasters worldwide. Day-to-day work involves prepping and cutting edits in Adobe Premiere Pro, building motion graphics in After Effects, and maintaining output quality to broadcast delivery standards under tight turnaround schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut and prep a range of content formats including broadcast promos, short-form social clips, highlight packages, and feature edits to HBS production standards.
• Build motion graphics, visual treatments, and reusable templates using Adobe After Effects as part of the creative post-production workflow.
• Manage and organise project media within file-based workflows, coordinating with media managers to ensure assets are correctly ingested and archived.
• Collaborate with producers and designers during the edit to maintain consistent storytelling and creative direction across platforms.
• Support delivery of finished content to international rights-holders, ensuring technical specifications and format requirements are met.
• Travel internationally for event coverage, including extended trips to host cities as required by the production schedule.

What You Bring

• A minimum of one year of professional editing experience, ideally within sports production, documentary, or live event broadcast environments.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Familiarity with file-based post-production workflows and remote collaboration tools used in multi-camera broadcast operations.
• A strong understanding of basketball as a sport and its wider culture, which directly informs the content scope of this role.
• Availability for international travel, including long-term trips, with a minimum of three days per week at the Central London office.
