About the Role

The Junior Video Editor works inside the Non-Live Production team supporting content creation for a major international basketball project, known internally as Project B, alongside a broader slate that includes FIFA World Cup productions. Day-to-day, you are in the edit suite cutting promos and short-form pieces, building motion design templates in After Effects, and coordinating with producers and media managers to hit delivery specs across multiple output formats. The role requires a minimum of three days per week in the Central London office, with periods of international travel built into the production calendar.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut promos, feature packages, highlight reels, and short-form social clips to broadcast delivery standards within tight post-production timelines.
• Build and adapt motion graphics templates in After Effects, applying visual treatments that meet the creative briefs issued by senior producers.
• Manage file-based workflows across the project, including ingest, organisation, and handoff to media managers and senior editors.
• Collaborate with Senior Producers and Editors during the edit review process, incorporating notes and revisions efficiently to maintain schedule.
• Support the operation of remote collaboration tools to maintain production continuity across international locations and multi-camera broadcast environments.
• Prepare and export deliverables in the correct formats and codecs for rights-holders, broadcasters, and digital platforms worldwide.

What You Bring

• At least one year of professional editing experience, with a background in sports content or documentary production preferred.
• Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects within the Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• Solid understanding of file-based post-production workflows and version control in a team edit environment.
• Genuine knowledge of basketball as a sport and cultural product, relevant to the tone and context of the content being produced.
• Experience on international sports events or in multi-camera broadcast production is a strong advantage.
• Full English fluency and availability for extended international travel throughout the production cycle.
