Go Echoes is hiring a Video Editor and Creative Designer Intern for a full-time, fully remote position based out of Lisbon, Portugal. This role sits within the social media content arm of the business, focused entirely on short-form video production for TikTok and Instagram Reels, turning raw event footage into platform-ready content. It suits an emerging editor who wants real post-production workflow experience on live social campaigns without needing a single professional credit to their name.

About the Role

This internship is embedded in the marketing and content team at Go Echoes, supporting a nightlife and events brand by producing short-form video content from actual event footage. A typical day involves pulling raw clips, building out edits with music, captions, and effects, and keeping pace with TikTok and Reels trends as they shift week to week. The volume is real, the creative brief is open, and the output goes live to a growing audience.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels from raw event footage, delivering polished cuts ready for same-day publishing.
• Apply music sync, transitions, on-screen captions, and platform-native effects to support the rhythm and energy of nightlife event coverage.
• Monitor short-form video trends across TikTok and Reels to inform creative direction and keep content performing within current algorithmic formats.
• Develop original content concepts and bring unsolicited creative ideas to the marketing team for review and production.
• Maintain a consistent visual language across all social media video output in line with the brand’s tone and aesthetic.
• Receive structured mentorship and editorial feedback to develop professional post-production habits across the internship period.

What You Bring

• No prior professional experience required, though a personal portfolio or sample edits are a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable non-linear editing tool.
• A clear understanding of how short-form video content is built for TikTok and Instagram, including pacing, hook structure, and caption placement.
• English language fluency, written and spoken, sufficient for remote team communication.
• A reliable setup for remote work and the ability to commit to full-time hours.
