About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Drive first-run film sales across A24’s slate by building and maintaining active relationships with international buyers and distribution partners in key territories.
• Develop territory valuations and sales strategies for individual titles, factoring in market trends, audience behavior, and the competitive international distribution landscape.
• Lead deal negotiations for international film rights and manage cross-functional alignment with Legal, Finance, and Servicing teams through to contract execution.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and pitches calibrated to individual markets and buyer profiles.
• Represent A24 at major international film markets and make a minimum of five international trips per year to key territories.
• Conduct ongoing research into the global film and television marketplace to identify emerging opportunities and shifts that affect distribution strategy.

What You Bring

• At least five years of direct experience selling first-run films in an international sales or distribution role.
• A proven record in film valuation and deal negotiation across multiple international territories.
• Established working relationships with international buyers and distributors that you can bring to the role from day one.
• Genuine knowledge of the global film distribution market, including how theatrical, streaming, and ancillary rights interact across regions.
• The ability and willingness to travel internationally at least five times per year for film markets and territory visits.
