Freelance Video Editor (Project-Based)

Doleep Studios is looking for an experienced Video Editor to support our production team on a project basis.

This role is suited for someone who can independently handle professional edits and deliver high-quality content across corporate and commercial projects.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for editing assigned projects end-to-end, ensuring strong storytelling, clean execution, and alignment with project briefs. You will collaborate with our internal team as needed to deliver polished, professional content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit corporate, government, and documentary-style video content
• Assemble rough cuts and final edits based on scripts and briefs
• Apply text animations, logo animations, infographics, and VFX to enhance videos
• Perform high-end color correction and grading
• Ensure strong pacing, narrative clarity, and overall edit quality
• Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently
• Deliver final outputs in line with technical and branding guidelines
• Maintain organized project files and timelines
• Select and integrate background music and sound design that aligns with the video tone, pacing, and content style

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in video editing and color grading
• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects
• Good understanding of sound design and music selection aligned with video storytelling
• Strong eye for detail, pacing, and visual composition
• Solid understanding of storytelling structure and corporate communication needs
• Ability to take ownership, meet deadlines, and collaborate when required
• Must be based in the UAE with a valid own/freelance visa
• Fluency in Arabic (spoken & written) – Preferred
