Paramount is hiring a Director, Global Creative Content, Film based in Los Angeles to lead the development and production of behind-the-scenes and short-form marketing content for the studio’s global theatrical releases. This role sits within the film marketing division, producing featurettes, promotional specials, and original content pieces that travel across broadcast and digital platforms in support of feature film campaigns worldwide. It’s a producing and storytelling role suited to a working filmmaker who is equally comfortable on set during production and in the edit bay shaping a narrative.

About the Role

The Director, Global Creative Content, Film works directly with filmmakers, cast, and crew on active theatrical productions to capture story-driven behind-the-scenes content, then shepherds that material through editorial into finished assets for global marketing campaigns. The role covers the full production workflow, from concept development and on-set capture through post-production delivery, across multiple feature film projects running simultaneously. A typical day might involve a production meeting with a film’s unit publicist in the morning and a picture edit review with the marketing team in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all behind-the-scenes content capture on feature film productions, coordinating access and logistics directly with the film’s production team and unit publicist.
  • Develop and produce short-form featurettes from concept through final delivery, shaping narrative structure and point of view in collaboration with editors.
  • Produce broadcast and digital promotional specials, including talent content days, event capture, music-driven content, and audience reaction pieces.
  • Partner with internal theatrical marketing, publicity, and creative teams to identify content needs across each film’s campaign strategy.
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and production logistics across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Present creative concepts and work-in-progress cuts to internal stakeholders at various stages of the campaign timeline.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in Film, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, paired with hands-on producing credits across feature film or theatrical marketing content.
  • Demonstrated experience producing behind-the-scenes and short-form content at the studio or distributor level.
  • Fluency in post-production workflow, including working knowledge of editorial processes and delivery requirements across broadcast and digital platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously while maintaining clear communication and organized production documentation.
  • Experience presenting creative work confidently to senior internal stakeholders in a studio environment.
