FOX Entertainment is hiring a Director, Compensation based in New York, New York (or Los Angeles), sitting within the Tubi Media Group umbrella that spans streaming, digital, and broadcast properties. This role owns the full compensation architecture for a portfolio that includes Tubi, FOX One, Credible, Red Seat Ventures, and the broader Tech and Digital division, covering everything from job leveling to equity program design. It suits a senior comp professional who has spent time inside high-growth media or technology companies and understands how total rewards strategy connects to talent retention across a content-driven business.

About the Role

The Director, Compensation works inside the People organization at FOX Entertainment, supporting HR Business Partners and recruiting across a set of brands that span streaming television, digital media, and financial services. Day to day, that means managing annual merit cycles, building and maintaining compensation models, and serving as the internal expert when business leaders need data-backed answers on pay positioning. The role carries real ownership, not just support work, across both short- and long-term incentive programs for a global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead compensation consultation for HR Business Partners and recruiting, translating market data into offer and promotion recommendations across streaming and digital media divisions.
  • Design and administer base, bonus, and equity philosophies through annual merit, promotion, and long-term incentive cycles for a multi-brand entertainment portfolio.
  • Coordinate participation in compensation surveys, including Radford, and perform benchmarking analysis to keep internal roles competitive across the entertainment and technology labor market.
  • Build and maintain analytical compensation models that track program roadmaps, headcount changes, and budget outputs across assigned business units.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including pay transparency and pay equity requirements across all operating locations.
  • Support job architecture and career-pathing projects that align leveling structures with the company’s broader workforce and content production strategy.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus 10 or more years of progressive compensation experience in media, technology, or high-growth environments.
  • Five or more years of hands-on Radford survey experience, plus working knowledge of additional survey vendors.
  • Deep expertise in compensation design, job architecture, and incentive program structure at a company with complex, multi-brand operations.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment law, including current pay equity and transparency legislation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build analytical models and turn compensation data into clear recommendations for HR and business leadership.

Why This Role

FOX Entertainment operates one of the more varied content portfolios in the industry, and this Director, Compensation role sits at the center of how the company attracts and retains talent across streaming television, broadcast, and digital properties. The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $210,000 annually, with eligibility for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off benefits as outlined in applicable plan documents. For a senior compensation professional, the scope here, covering multiple brands and a global workforce, is broader than most single-studio roles offer.

Apply now for the Director, Compensation role at FOX Entertainment and bring your total rewards expertise to one of television’s most recognized portfolios.
