$53,738 to $60,006 annually. Salary scale and wage increments are in accordance with the Collective Agreement
The Opportunity
You are exceptionally talented in producing costumes for the performing arts and maintain the College’s costume collection. You are highly organized in ensuring production specifications are met; providing time and cost estimates for costume production; and maintaining inventory of the College’s costume stock.

WHAT IT TAKES
- Completion of post-secondary education in costume and/or fashion design or equivalent with three year’s related work experience in theatre, film, or television.
- An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience may be considered.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills including written and verbal fluency in the English language;
- Experience liaising with multiple departments; coordinate the completion of complex collaborative tasks using effective communication strategies and delegation skills;
- Demonstrated proficiency in sewing, pattern drafting, and costume construction techniques;

Additional Information
- This full-time, 9 Month Repeating Term position is available starting May 4, 2026.
- Hours of work will typically be scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
- This position is required to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
- Shift days and times may change depending on operational needs
- Evening and occasional weekend work may be required.
- The position is located at the New Westminster campus; and will be required to work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations
