• Completion of post-secondary education in costume and/or fashion design or equivalent with three year’s related work experience in theatre, film, or television.
• An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and work experience may be considered.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills including written and verbal fluency in the English language;
• Experience liaising with multiple departments; coordinate the completion of complex collaborative tasks using effective communication strategies and delegation skills;
• Demonstrated proficiency in sewing, pattern drafting, and costume construction techniques;

• This full-time, 9 Month Repeating Term position is available starting May 4, 2026.
• Hours of work will typically be scheduled Monday to Friday, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm.
• This position is required to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
• Shift days and times may change depending on operational needs
• Evening and occasional weekend work may be required.
• The position is located at the New Westminster campus; and will be required to work at all Douglas College campuses and offsite locations
