About the Role

Working in-house within a small creative team, the Commercial Videographer Content Creator produces brand films, digital advertising, product demos, and short-form social content for a permanent architectural lighting company building toward national expansion. A typical production day might involve filming a residential installation at dusk, capturing before-and-after footage under nighttime conditions, then returning to post to cut a 30-second social spot and a longer testimonial piece from the same shoot. This is a single-operator production role with real creative responsibility, not a support position.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concepts, write treatments, build shot lists, and schedule productions for commercial video content spanning brand awareness, product education, and paid digital advertising campaigns.
• Film architectural lighting installations across daylight, blue hour, and nighttime conditions, capturing installation process footage, customer reactions, and before-and-after transformation sequences.
• Direct on-camera interviews, employee testimonials, and customer stories, guiding non-professional talent through clean, usable performances.
• Edit long-form and short-form content in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, with particular attention to color grading for low-light and nighttime architectural footage.
• Deliver platform-native vertical content formatted for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook, adapting pacing and hooks to each distribution context.
• Maintain organized asset libraries covering raw footage, project files, music licenses, talent releases, and finished deliverables across all active campaigns.

What You Bring

• A portfolio or reel demonstrating commercial video production, branded content, or social media content with measurable production quality.
• Hands-on experience with camera operation, field audio recording, stabilization rigs, and drone capture for location-based shoots.
• Advanced post-production skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro, including color correction, motion graphics, and sound design.
• Working knowledge of visual storytelling structure, including hooks, audience retention, and calls to action suited to digital advertising formats.
• Availability to film evenings and weekends when installation schedules or lighting conditions require it, with a valid driver’s license for local and travel-based productions.
