Casting Call in Chicago! Multiple Roles + Some Crew Positions

We are in the process of starting a feature length comedy film called “Pizzoyssey.” This is the story of a Pizza Delivery Guy and a day in his life. It’s kind of a dark and raunchy comedy.

We have brought on some absolutely amazing actors, actresses, and crew, but we are still looking for some people who stand out and want to bring their talent to a super fun production. We are looking to fill the rest of our supporting roles with some fun and talented people. We are hoping to begin shooting mid July between Milwaukee and Chicago so you may be required to travel. We will be shooting six days a week and it will be based on the availability of locations we are using.

We are looking for positive people with great attitudes and who want to have some fun making a comedy. We want people who like to talk about their projects and will be involved with helping get this film made. We are open to people just starting out to veterans. We want people who can take these supporting roles and make them stand out and memorable. Available roles are as follows:

Jack: We are looking for someone between 30-40. This role will require one day on set.

Reed: Male between 21-45, must be able to do a man bun, must have goatee. This role will require a half day on set

Schmidt: Male, open age. This role will require a half day on set.

Tina: Looking for a female between 21-31. This role will require one day on set. Prefer someone who has tattoos.

Cooper: Looking for male between 25-35. This role will require one day on set.

Ethan: Looking for male between 25-35. This role will require one day on set.

Mia: Looking for female between 25-35. This role will require one day on set.

Grace: Looking for female between 25-35. This role will require one day on set.

Sarah: Looking for a female between the ages of 21-27. This role will require two days on set. I am looking for a party girl for this role.

Mike: Looking for a male between 20-35. This role will require one day on set and heavy makeup.

Bambi: Actress between the age of 21-25. This role will require one day on set. This role is a bit risqué.

Priest: Looking for an older innocent looking male over 55.

We have some great people cast already, we have applicants we are excited to be in contact, with and we want to add the right people to this project.

Those few things listed about them are musts for each character. I don’t want to sound negative here, but over the years I have been doing this, I get a lot of people who say things like, I am 40 but look 20, it’s never true or someone who is completely wrong for a role asking me to change it so they can audition, it’s not going to happen. This film has been written with a very specific look in mind, I apologize ahead of time to those we don’t have roles for. If you have strong social media followings, that is a bonus. To those we feel may fit, we will request video auditions.

As for crew, we are looking to fill a few roles, we have the director and DP set, otherwise, we are looking for people to help out everywhere else.

This film is going to be a challenge, but fun to make. We plan to do a full theatrical screening once complete targeting late October. We are already starting to promote and will be traveling to some large events to promote this following production. We already have great indie music coming in for the soundtrack too.
