Part-Time Mixing Engineer / Composer / Producer (Entry Level)

Endless Noise — Los Angeles, CA

About Endless Noise

Endless Noise is an award-winning music house creating original music for television. Our work has earned Grammy and Emmy Awards, as well as Cannes Gold Lions, Clio Awards, and other major industry honors.

We are deeply embedded in the television production world, with an on-site presence at one of the largest reality TV production companies. We actively contribute music across their full slate of shows and consistently support multiple series in production at any given time. Our focus is quickly delivering quality-forward bespoke music and catalogs for reality television, promos, and commercial-driven formats.

The Role

We are seeking a part-time Mixing Engineer / Composer / Producer for an entry-level position to support our day-to-day music production pipeline. This role is ideal for someone early in their professional career who already has real-world experience creating music for television and is looking to deepen their skills in a fast-paced, professional studio environment.

You will work closely with our team to help mix, produce, and prepare music for inclusion in our internal library and for delivery to active television productions.

Responsibilities

  • Mix and master orchestral, electronic, and hybrid tracks for television use
  • Assist in arranging, producing, and finishing music for our library and show deliveries
  • Contribute original compositions and production ideas as needed
  • Prepare tracks to meet broadcast-ready standards
  • Collaborate in-person with our production team in the studio

Qualifications

  • Experience writing, producing, mixing and mastering music for television, film, or commercials
  • Familiarity with the creative and technical demands of TV music (structure, energy, edit-friendly arrangements, etc.)
  • Strong production and mixing fundamentals across multiple genres
  • Experience or interest in reality TV and commercial music is a strong plus
  • Ability to take direction, iterate quickly, and see projects through to completion

Position Details

  • Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week.
  • Compensation: Entry-level position paid at minimum wage, plus writer royalty splits on any music you write or co-write
  • Location: In-person only — candidates must be based in Los Angeles
  • Studios: Work will take place at our Santa Monica or Glendale offices
  • Benchmarked Growth: Full-time Employment, Benefits, Senior Composer or Senior Engineer Positions

How to Apply

To apply, please submit the following by email to endlessnoisesubmissions@gmail.com:

  • A resume listing only relevant experience and credits
  • Three (3) examples of your mixing, composing, or arranging work that has been used in television, commercials, or film. These examples must be exclusively written, produced and mixed by you without help from another party.

Selected applicants will be contacted to move forward to the next round.

Next Round: Skills Evaluation

Applicants who advance will be asked to complete a creative evaluation designed to assess:

  • Mixing ability
  • Arranging and production skills
  • Writing and composition for television

This evaluation will entail completing (2) mixes from stems using Protools, (1) arrangement from a track starter and (1) new original composition based on a TV music library reference.

Details will be provided to selected candidates.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role offering real production experience, credit opportunities, and long-term growth within a working television music company.
