Associate Producer

Warner Bros. Discovery is hiring an Associate Producer to join Rocksteady Studios in London, embedded within the Engine and Tech teams on an AAA console and PC title. This role sits at the operational core of game production, managing sprint cycles, milestone deliverables, and build coordination across a complex technical pipeline. About the Role

Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the Batman: Arkham series, operates as a single-project studio with a production model built around long-form AAA development. The Associate Producer works across preproduction through to final delivery, sitting between Leads, QA, and Senior Production to keep the Engine and Tech teams on track. A typical day involves backlog grooming, bug tracking, build management coordination, and dependency planning across a large multidisciplinary development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Track sprint tasks, milestone deliverables, and outstanding bugs, following up on blockers to ensure developers can hit their targets without escalation delays.
• Support milestone build delivery by coordinating developer availability for final bug fixes and liaising with Producers during branch management to confirm fixes are reviewed and correctly published.
• Maintain healthy sprint and milestone backlogs in collaboration with Leads, confirming estimates with developers and keeping task descriptions accurate and current in the tracking system.
• Partner with QA and the Senior Producer to schedule test plans, ensure requirements meetings are followed, and verify that team deliverables are covered at each milestone gate.
• Facilitate production meetings with prepared agendas, take accurate minutes, and distribute decisions and action items to the relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Support dependency planning with Leads and Producers, ensuring all dependencies are captured in schedules and reflected correctly in asset management tools throughout production.

What You Bring

• Hands-on AAA game production experience, including time spent during pre-alpha development stages on a shipped or in-development title.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining long-term production schedules and dependency tracking processes on complex multi-team projects.
• Proficiency with industry-standard task tracking and project management tools used in AAA game production pipelines.
• A working understanding of QA processes, milestone documentation, and build management workflows on console platforms and PC.
• Strong judgment when escalating risks, with a track record of resolving ad-hoc issues without pulling Senior Producers into problems that can be solved at the AP level.
