ASSISTANT / 2ND PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER

Candidate will be involved in the day to day operation in a photography/videography agency 

• Assist in setting up, getting props, liaison for arranging photo and video shoots etc.

• Editing and retouching photography

• Liaise with Client on their needs, direction of photography and expected outcome

• Assist in video production and editing where necessary

• Collaborate with clients, photographers, videographers, and creative teams to develop creative design concepts that align with project objectives and client expectations.

• Film footages and put edited segments together with sound balancing, colour correction and colour grading etc

• Study project briefs to grasp the needs and specifications

• Record and edit footage that matches the director’s/client’s vision

• Ability to concept, storyline and execute the desired outcome on composition, editing and delivery

• Ability to search for or posses skills to create and input music, dialogues, graphics, basic animations and/or other relevant effects

• Work closely with photographers and videographers to provide art direction, ensuring the creative vision is effectively translated into the final product.

• Develop storyboards, mood boards, and other visual aids to communicate design concepts and ideas to clients and internal teams.

• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design techniques related to photography and video production, and incorporate innovative ideas into projects.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet project deadlines without compromising on quality.

• Maintain an organised file management system, ensuring all design assets are properly archived and easily accessible.

Technical Skills And Competencies – 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. In particular Lightroom, Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and in additional Capture One (C1)

• Strong portfolio and experience showcasing a range of creative medoia

• Understanding of storytelling and the ability to convey narratives visually through photography and video.

• Good understanding on creative lighting, operation of photography, ie off camera flash, ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture

• Proficient in Video Editing Software, Adobe Creative Cloud – ie: Premier Pro, After effects, Photoshop,

• Editing and Retouching Photography

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent 2 years of relevant experience
