About the Role

We are seeking energetic, confident, and engaging individuals to join our team as Ghost Bus Tour Actors in York. This is a unique opportunity for performers who enjoy live interaction, storytelling, and entertaining audiences in a dynamic, immersive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and entertaining performances based on a provided script
• Act as both performer and tour guide, bringing stories to life for passengers
• Interact with guests to create a memorable and immersive experience
• Assist passengers with boarding and ensure a smooth customer experience
• Maintain high energy and enthusiasm throughout each performance
• Communicate any incidents or concerns promptly to the Duty Manager on shift
• Adapt performance style to suit different audiences and situations

Requirements

• Experience performing in front of live audiences
• Confident, outgoing, and naturally extroverted personality
• Strong communication and improvisation skills
• Ability to stay in character while engaging with the public
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to work varied shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Desirable Skills

• Background in comedy, improvisation, or street performance
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Passion for storytelling, history, or immersive entertainment
