Key Art Designer (Senior-Level)

Zealot is hiring a Key Art Designer at senior level, based in London. This role sits within Zealot’s print studio, leading the concept development and execution of key art for film and television marketing campaigns, including theatrical posters, out-of-home campaigns, title treatments, and social assets. It suits a designer who has built their career in entertainment advertising and can move fluently between conceptual thinking and finished artwork delivery.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Art Director, you will shape the visual identity of major film and TV campaigns from brief through to final delivery. Day to day, that means leading concept development, directing photo compositing and typography, handling client feedback calls, and mentoring junior designers through the studio workflow. Zealot works across trailers, TV spots, and print for major entertainment clients, so the volume and profile of the work is substantial.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead concept development for key art campaigns across film and television entertainment marketing, from initial moodboards through to finished print and digital deliverables.
• Design and execute all elements of poster creation, including typography, layout, colour grading, photo compositing, and retouching to a broadcast and print-ready standard.
• Attend photoshoots as art director or in support of the Senior Art Director, contributing to shoot concepting from the reference and sketching stage through to on-set execution.
• Present creative concepts directly to clients, articulate design decisions clearly, and incorporate feedback into revised artwork without losing the integrity of the original concept.
• Produce static assets for out-of-home campaigns, social media, pitch decks, and title treatments across multiple campaign touchpoints.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers within the studio, providing direction on creative and technical craft, and contributing to a culture of shared knowledge.

What You Bring

• Four to six or more years of experience in an entertainment marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment, with a portfolio focused on film and TV key art.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with knowledge of After Effects or Cinema 4D considered a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience across theatrical poster design, out-of-home campaigns, and episodic television marketing materials.
• Strong understanding of colour profiles, image resolution, and technical specifications for both print and digital outputs.
• Confidence in client-facing environments, including presenting concepts, running briefing calls, and responding to notes under production deadlines.
