About the Role

Working directly under the Marketing Manager, this Video Editor position functions as the sole post-production resource for VSF Rentals, meaning the person in this seat owns the edit from assembly through final delivery across every format and placement. On any given day, that means assembling hook, meat, and CTA footage into tested ad variations, enhancing audio through Adobe Podcast, and formatting exports for 9:16, 4:5, 1:1, and 16:9 placements. The long-form side of the role includes producing property walkthrough videos that present communities at their best, using supplied footage as the foundation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble supplied hook, meat, and CTA clips into high-converting short-form ads optimized for Meta and TikTok paid social placements.
• Create multiple ad variations by mixing and matching hooks and CTAs to support structured performance testing.
• Apply captions, motion graphics, B-roll, music, and sound design to strengthen retention and pacing throughout each edit.
• Process all audio through Adobe Podcast before locking picture on any deliverable.
• Edit and produce long-form YouTube videos and video walkthroughs of residential units and communities from provided footage.
• Submit a daily written progress update to the Marketing Manager covering completed edits and work in progress.

What You Bring

• Proven credits editing direct response or performance video ads, with at least three examples you can speak to by role and result.
• Working knowledge of short-form post-production workflow, including hook structure, pattern interrupts, and retention-based pacing.
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or a comparable professional editing application.
• Experience cutting long-form content such as YouTube videos, property showcases, or brand walkthroughs.
• Availability to work 40 or more hours per week, 9 AM to 5 PM EST, on a full-time remote contract basis.
