About the Role

The Manager, Domestic TV Distribution Strategy & Planning reports to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy & Planning and works directly in support of the Domestic TV Sales team, with a primary focus on the studio’s series library across both new release and catalog titles. Day to day, this person is building financial projections for co-production and acquisition opportunities, preparing deal renegotiation decks for executive review, and managing availability data across rights management systems. It’s a position that sits where content licensing, finance, and TV distribution strategy all meet.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning process for domestic go-to-market strategies covering new release and library series across VOD and linear licensing windows.
• Build financial models for high-value IP and prepare greenlight projections for series co-production and acquisition opportunities.
• Review and analyze contract terms, facilitate data corrections in the rights management system, and ensure rights availability is accurately reflected internally.
• Monitor series ultimates for long-term risk exposure and maintain the series licensing budget plan with regular updates to Finance.
• Compile availability reports and develop tailored content packaging recommendations for distribution clients.
• Build graphical sales tools for complex strategic windowing projects and track deal obligations across the episodic television library.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of experience in sales strategy, content licensing, acquisitions, or a related finance role within the media or entertainment industry.
• Strong command of Excel for working with large datasets, and advanced proficiency in PowerPoint for executive-level presentations.
• Familiarity with TV rights structures and series deal terms across the domestic television distribution landscape.
• Experience with Rights Line, Salesforce, or Airtable is a meaningful plus.
• Prior experience at a studio, streaming service, or major media company is strongly preferred.
