About the Role

The Streaming Production Assistant works directly inside the CBS Sports Digital production team, supporting live shows, podcasts, and digital segments across streaming, mobile, and social platforms. Day-to-day, this person is in the mix with Producers and Associate Producers, building and firing live graphics, cutting highlights in Adobe Premiere, and getting content out the door on deadline. It’s a ground-level position in a live broadcast production workflow, which means early mornings, weekends, and the occasional overnight are part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and fire live studio graphics using Ross XPression during live streaming production broadcasts.
• Capture, edit, and assemble video clips in Adobe Premiere and other non-linear editing systems for digital distribution.
• Prepare highlights, one-plays, and interview content for publication across CBS Sports Digital platforms.
• Encode and publish video content according to platform specifications for streaming, mobile, and digital delivery.
• Maintain organized production files, scripts, and content libraries to support the wider production team.
• Support control room operations and assist with breaking news coverage and high-priority live programming as assigned.

What You Bring

• A bachelor’s degree in communications, broadcasting, digital media production, or a related field is preferred.
• At least one year of experience in broadcast television, digital media, or video production environments.
• Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere and a solid grasp of video encoding and post-production workflow fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Ross XPression or comparable broadcast graphics systems is a plus.
• A working knowledge of major and minor professional and collegiate sports, with genuine interest in sports media.
• The ability to manage multiple deadlines and shift priorities quickly inside a live production environment.
