Video Editor & Motion Designer (Barcelona)

Job Position(s): Video Editor & Motion Designer (Barcelona)

Zurich Duo, the in-house agency for Zurich Insurance, is hiring a Video Editor & Motion Designer based in Madrid to join their Marketing & Communications team. This role sits inside a digital content production workflow, covering everything from social-first video editing and motion graphics to format adaptation across multiple platforms and channels. It suits a mid-level editor or motion designer with agency or brand content experience who is comfortable owning projects from brief to delivery.

About the Role

Zurich Duo operates as an internal creative studio within a major global corporation, producing digital marketing and customer experience content for international markets. The Video Editor & Motion Designer works across social media content, brand campaigns, and digital communications, handling both editing and motion design output within the same post-production workflow. A typical day involves cutting video for social formats, building motion graphics in After Effects, and adapting assets across different channel specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and finish video content for digital channels, applying platform-specific formatting and pacing suited to social media content production.
• Design and animate motion graphics using After Effects and Premiere Pro as the core of the post-production workflow.
• Adapt existing creative assets across multiple aspect ratios and formats, maintaining visual consistency across each digital touchpoint.
• Create and edit short-form content using CapCut for social-first formats, particularly where speed of turnaround is a priority.
• Apply AI-assisted tools including Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or Sora to support ideation and content generation where appropriate.
• Contribute to visual storytelling decisions, including image composition and graphic design, in collaboration with the broader creative team at Zurich Duo.

What You Bring

• Two to four years of hands-on experience in video editing, motion design, or digital content production within a creative or marketing agency environment.
• Proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Demonstrated experience producing content for social media platforms, with working knowledge of CapCut.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content creation tools such as Banana Pro, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or Sora is a plus.
• A portfolio showing strong visual sensibility, motion graphics work, and experience across varied digital formats.

Why This Role

Zurich Duo combines the output demands of a production studio with the stability of one of the world’s largest insurance groups, giving editors and designers access to international briefs without the volatility of freelance agency work. The team operates with genuine creative autonomy on projects that reach audiences across multiple markets.
