About the Role

The Director, Sourcing – Enterprise Technology works inside a structured IT accountability model, partnering closely with category leads across production, corporate services, and professional services to keep technology procurement aligned with how the studio actually operates. Day to day, this means managing supplier relationships, running spend analysis, and building sourcing strategies that support both ongoing studio operations and the broader digital transformation priorities at Sony Pictures Entertainment. This is a senior individual contributor and leadership role, not a support function.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across enterprise technology categories including cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, tied directly to measurable cost and value outcomes.
• Manage supplier relationships through structured contract management, performance evaluation cycles, and risk mitigation protocols aligned with studio compliance requirements.
• Conduct detailed spend analysis across technology categories to surface savings opportunities, improve data quality, and inform procurement decisions with accurate business intelligence.
• Serve as the sourcing subject matter expert for business partners across the studio, facilitating regular alignment meetings and building materials that support transparent, trust-based collaboration.
• Work alongside category sourcing leads covering marketing, production, and professional services to create a coordinated procurement approach across overlapping technology needs.
• Apply AI tools, automation platforms, and digital procurement systems to improve sourcing cycle speed, real-time data analysis, and overall operational efficiency across the technology category.

What You Bring

• 10 or more years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience, with a meaningful portion spent on technology categories at an enterprise scale.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and managing SaaS, cloud, and cybersecurity contracts in a large corporate or studio environment.
• Prior background in studio, media, or entertainment procurement is preferred and will be weighted seriously in the review process.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or a related field, with an MBA preferred.
• Fluency with spend analytics platforms and digital procurement tools used in enterprise sourcing workflows.
