About the Role

The Video Editor Expert works within YO AI Labs’ human data evaluation pipeline, reviewing AI-generated video and multimedia outputs for accuracy, pacing, visual coherence, and overall production quality. On a typical day, this means completing structured review tasks, applying annotation and ratings using established rubrics, and documenting feedback that directly improves AI model performance. The work is fully remote and flexible in schedule, making it a strong fit for editors between productions or looking to supplement their post-production workflow income.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated video edits and multimedia outputs against professional post-production standards for pacing, composition, and visual hierarchy.
• Complete structured annotation tasks using tools including DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, and Camtasia to assess motion graphics and edited sequences.
• Provide detailed written feedback and rubric-based grading on AI outputs covering continuity, color, typography, and motion design.
• Review creative deliverables against project criteria and document observations that flag quality issues or inconsistencies in the AI-generated content.
• Assess UI/UX and multimedia outputs for usability and realism using tools such as Figma, Adobe Lightroom, and Canva as part of the evaluation scope.
• Recommend workflow improvements based on recurring patterns identified during AI output evaluation sessions.

What You Bring

• Two or more years of professional experience in video editing, motion graphics, or a related post-production discipline.
• Hands-on proficiency with DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, Camtasia, and Adobe Lightroom in a professional production context.
• Verified, paid experience in AI human-data work, including data labeling, annotation, RLHF, or model evaluation. Experience using AI tools to create content does not satisfy this requirement.
• Strong written English communication skills at B2 level or above, with the ability to write clear, detailed feedback on creative outputs.
• Reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines without on-site supervision.
