This role sits within the Original Content post-production team, where the editor is responsible for weekly delivery of feature stories, YouTube shorts, and cross-platform elements across NFL digital and social platforms. About the Role

The Part-Time Digital Video Editor works directly inside the NFL Media Original Content Group, collaborating daily with directors, producers, and researchers to shape and finish digital-first content. The post-production workflow here covers everything from storyline development in the edit bay to graphics design and final platform delivery. At under 29 hours per week, this is an onsite position at the Inglewood office with no remote or hybrid option available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and post-produce feature stories from first assembly through final delivery, managing pacing, structure, and narrative clarity for a digital audience.
  • Design graphics and motion elements using Adobe After Effects for use across NFL digital and social platforms.
  • Formulate and develop storylines during post-production in close collaboration with producers, writers, and researchers.
  • Execute post-production workflow for YouTube shorts, high-end features, and cross-platform content on deadline-driven weekly schedules.
  • Manage asset organization and delivery through CMS platforms, adhering to established departmental post-production workflows and best practices.
  • Communicate with all parties across the post-production pipeline, from researchers to senior producers, to ensure quality and timely output.

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of experience editing in a professional digital or social media production environment.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects within the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience editing content specifically for YouTube and social-first platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of NFL history, current storylines, and league events, enough to help shape editorial decisions independently.
  • A bachelor’s degree in journalism, broadcast media, web production, or a related field is preferred.
