About the Role

The Character Content Creator Intern works inside Walt Disney Imagineering’s live entertainment production structure, supporting documentation that governs how character costumes are used and maintained across global properties. Day-to-day work involves drafting new character documentation for active development projects, auditing existing materials for accuracy, capturing supporting photo and video assets, and editing images for use in both documentation and performance training materials. This is a full-time, six-month internship running from January 2027 to June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop character-specific written and visual documentation materials in support of new costume and character development projects within the live entertainment production pipeline.
  • Update, maintain, and audit existing costume documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency across all applicable end users worldwide.
  • Partner directly with subject matter experts to gather source content that informs documentation standards and operational guidelines.
  • Assist in capturing photo and video media assets required for inclusion in character costume documentation packages.
  • Edit character photos for use across documentation materials and performance training content distributed to production and operations teams.
  • Track and catalog documentation assets with attention to version control and content layout standards used across the character content library.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in a degree program related to content creation, production design, costume technology, communications, or a related discipline.
  • Basic working knowledge of photo editing software used in live entertainment or theatrical production environments.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated experience in content cataloging, asset tracking, and attention to detail in a production or studio context.
  • Familiarity with visual documentation workflows, whether from live entertainment, costume production, or a related field.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in the Kissimmee, Florida area for the full six-month term.
