Job Position(s): Production Internship
Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Internship
Compensation: Paid Internship

The Walt Disney Company (EMEA) is hiring a Production Internship based in Lisbon, Portugal, starting November 2026. This role sits within the creative production workflow, supporting internal projects from development through delivery by managing approvals, assets, and stakeholder communication between the creative team and production partners. It suits a recent graduate in marketing, communication, or advertising who wants hands-on exposure to how a major entertainment company moves projects from brief to screen.

About the Role

The internship operates within Disney EMEA’s production and content team, a division supporting one of the largest entertainment pipelines across 59 markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Day to day, this person keeps production workflow moving by tracking project milestones, organising materials, and making sure the right assets reach the right people at the right stage. It is a ground-level view of how large-scale media production is actually managed across multiple simultaneous projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general production support across internal projects, helping to coordinate activity between creative, marketing, and operational stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and manage the approval process to ensure deliverables meet scheduled deadlines across the production workflow.
  • Organise and maintain project documentation, meeting notes, and production files required at each stage of execution.
  • Manage materials and assets for active projects, tracking versions and ensuring quality control before sign-off.
  • Support the relationship between the creative team and external or internal stakeholders throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings across departments, preparing relevant materials to keep production progress on track.

What You Bring

  • A completed degree in marketing, communication, or advertising, with no more than two years elapsed since graduation.
  • Native or fluent Portuguese, with a solid working level of English across written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage priorities across multiple projects simultaneously without losing accuracy or detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving within a production environment.
  • Comfort working across teams in a large media company where stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables shift frequently.

Why This Role

Disney EMEA operates across 29 countries with over 6,000 employees, giving interns exposure to production operations at a scale very few media companies can offer. This is a one-year internship program, beginning November 2026, which means genuine time to develop production skills and build relationships inside one of the most recognised entertainment organisations globally. For someone early in a media production career, the breadth of Disney’s content slate across episodic television, streaming, and branded entertainment makes this a meaningful first credit.

Apply now for the Production Internship at The Walt Disney Company (EMEA) and take the first step into professional media production in Lisbon.
