Job Position(s): Intern, Project & Event Production - Jan to Jun 2027
Project Type: Streaming Content
Job Date: Internship
Compensation: Paid Internship

The Walt Disney Company (APAC) is hiring an Intern, Project and Event Production for a six-month placement running January to June 2027, based out of their Singapore office. This role sits within the Integrated Marketing Team and focuses specifically on the production and project coordination of D23 Asia 2027, a major live event property that spans multiple internal workstreams, agencies, and external partners. It suits a student or recent graduate looking to build real event production credits in a structured, large-scale entertainment environment.

About the Role

The Integrated Marketing Team oversees brand campaigns and promotional output across media channels for Disney Entertainment, which includes the global content portfolio and the Disney+ streaming service. As an Intern, Project and Event Production, your day-to-day work centers on keeping the D23 Asia 2027 production on schedule, which means maintaining trackers, chasing deliverables, and supporting a Senior Event Producer through every phase of the event production workflow. This is a coordination-heavy role, not a creative one, and the output you own directly shapes how well the overall project moves.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project trackers, milestone plans, action logs, and key status documents across all D23 Asia 2027 workstreams.
  • Follow up with internal teams, agencies, and production partners on outstanding deliverables and agreed next steps to keep the event production schedule on track.
  • Consolidate workstream updates into a clear, current view of overall project progress for the Senior Event Producer.
  • Flag upcoming deadlines, unresolved decisions, dependencies, and potential delays before they become production problems.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across multiple concurrent workstreams within the live event production pipeline.
  • Help maintain project documentation standards so that all parties across agencies and internal teams are working from accurate, up-to-date materials.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in event management, film and television production, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project tracking tools and maintain organized documentation across multiple workstreams.
  • Familiarity with large-scale event production or entertainment marketing workflows, whether through coursework, internships, or production assistant credits.
  • Strong written communication skills for following up with agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders in a professional production context.
  • Availability for a full six-month commitment from January to June 2027, based on-site in Singapore.

Why This Role

D23 is Disney’s official fan event, and producing the Asia edition is a significant undertaking that gives this intern direct exposure to how a global entertainment company manages large-scale live event production from the inside. The Walt Disney Company’s APAC operation works across the full Disney Entertainment portfolio, meaning the professional network and production experience you build here carries real weight in the region’s film and television industry. This is a defined, credit-earning placement with a clear scope, not a general admin rotation.
