About the Role

The Senior Producer, Social Media works within FOX News Digital, the digital publishing arm of the number one cable news network in the country, which reaches 200 million people monthly. Day to day, this person runs social programming across live news cycles, coordinates with show teams and editorial staff, and owns the workflow systems that keep content accurate and moving at speed. This is a hands-on production role, not a strategy-only seat.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day social programming and platform strategy across breaking news, live coverage, and tentpole news moments, applying current best practices while adapting to platform shifts in real time.
• Monitor emerging news and cultural conversations across social platforms to identify early opportunities and position FOX News content for maximum reach and engagement.
• Work directly with social creators on the full editorial package, including headlines, captions, thumbnails, hooks, pacing, and tone across each platform.
• Analyze platform performance data and audience insights to inform editorial decisions and refine publishing strategy in the moment, not after the fact.
• Build and maintain repeatable editorial workflows that support speed, accuracy, and consistency across the team, incorporating AI tools where they improve efficiency without undermining editorial standards.
• Coach and mentor social creators through structured feedback, one-on-one sessions, and ongoing training tied to real publishing outcomes.

What You Bring

• Proven experience producing content inside a news environment, with a track record of accuracy-first publishing under deadline pressure.
• Platform fluency across major social channels, with a working understanding of what drives reach, retention, and engagement in a news context.
• Hands-on proficiency with video and graphics tools including Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Canva or equivalent production software.
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders including show teams, editorial staff, talent, standards, and legal through live news workflows.
• Prior experience managing or mentoring content creators or producers inside a digital newsroom environment.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in digital media or broadcast news production.
