Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Internship

Disney is hiring an Intern, Project & Event Production for a six-month placement in Singapore, running January to June 2027. Sitting within the Integrated Marketing Team, this role is specifically built around the planning and delivery of D23 Asia 2027, a major live entertainment and fan convention event that spans programming, talent logistics, ticketing, and venue operations. It suits an undergraduate with a genuine interest in live event production and entertainment marketing who wants structured, hands-on experience inside a major studio environment.

About the Role

The Intern, Project & Event Production works directly alongside the Senior Event Producer, supporting day-to-day coordination across multiple production workstreams for D23 Asia 2027. A typical day involves maintaining project trackers, chasing deliverables from internal teams and external agencies, capturing meeting notes, and keeping milestone plans current as the event build progresses. This is an office-based role in Singapore with onsite production support expected during key project milestones, rehearsals, and the event itself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project trackers, milestone plans, action logs, and status documents across all live event production workstreams.
  • Follow up with internal Disney teams, agencies, venue partners, and other stakeholders on outstanding deliverables and agreed next steps.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, capture decisions and action items, and issue follow-ups to ensure items are closed out on schedule.
  • Flag upcoming deadlines, unresolved dependencies, and potential delays to the Senior Event Producer before they become critical path issues.
  • Support coordination across venue operations, talent logistics, guest experience, programming, and ticketing workstreams.
  • Provide onsite production support during site visits, rehearsals, and event readiness activities as required.

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate pursuing a degree in Events, Communications, Media, Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field, and not yet graduated by June 2027.
  • Available for a full-time, office-based commitment Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, for the full January to June 2027 period.
  • Ability to support outside regular working hours when event production schedules require it.
  • Strong organisational habits with experience managing documents, trackers, or project files in a team setting.
  • Comfort working across multiple workstreams and communicating clearly with stakeholders at different levels.

Why This Role

D23 is Disney’s flagship fan convention format, and D23 Asia 2027 represents a significant live entertainment production investment in the region. For an intern focused on event production and entertainment marketing, direct involvement in a project of this scale, inside a studio with Disney’s production slate and global reach, is a meaningful credit. The Intern, Project & Event Production role offers structured mentorship through direct reporting to a Senior Event Producer rather than general department support.

Apply now for the Intern, Project & Event Production role at Disney in Singapore and get hands-on experience delivering one of the region’s biggest entertainment events.
