Key Responsibilities

• Cut and assemble raw footage into structured, retention-optimized sequences using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, incorporating music, sound design, and visual pacing decisions throughout.
• Implement editorial choices around scenario structure, including how animation sequences are ordered and how reactions and payoff moments are timed within a cut.
• Apply notes from lead editors and retention specialists to revise cuts, with the goal of reducing note rounds over time as your editorial instincts develop.
• Work within a shared post-production environment alongside other editors, contributing to team-wide skill development and maintaining consistency across the channel’s visual style.
• Use Adobe Photoshop to prepare and adapt still assets that support the visual language of each video.
• Manage your own project timelines to hit delivery deadlines ahead of schedule without trading off cut quality.

What You Bring

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, with working knowledge of After Effects in a production context.
• A portfolio of completed editorial work that demonstrates an understanding of pacing, structure, and audience engagement.
• Experience iterating on cuts from notes, with the ability to internalize feedback and apply it independently going forward.
• A background in digital content production, short-form or long-form, where viewer retention was a measurable editorial goal.
• Strong time management in a deadline-driven post-production environment, with a track record of delivering on schedule.
