Day to day, that means managing post-production workflow across multiple concurrent shows, cutting long-form interview episodes while also building short-form derivatives optimized for each platform’s delivery specs. Performance data is part of the job, not an afterthought, and editorial decisions are expected to reflect watch time, completion rate, and engagement metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form podcast episodes end to end, handling audio cleanup, sound design, music integration, and final video output to broadcast-quality standards.
• Build short-form clip packages for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok, applying platform-specific pacing and hook structures.
• Execute multi-cam editing, color grading, and motion graphics work inside Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as core post-production deliverables.
• Maintain organized media libraries, editing templates, and version control systems to keep post-production workflow consistent across clients.
• Review performance analytics and translate watch time and engagement data into concrete adjustments to editorial approach and clip selection.

• Five or more years of professional editing experience across both audio and video formats in a production or media environment.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition, used daily in a professional post-production context.
• A demonstrable track record cutting content that performs on B2B platforms and thought leadership channels, not just consumer entertainment.
• Working knowledge of YouTube SEO, metadata strategy, and platform-specific discovery mechanics.
• Experience managing editorial timelines across multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for final delivery quality.
