Job Position(s): Social Content Creator & Videographer
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Workforce Australia is hiring a Social Content Creator & Videographer based in North Sydney, NSW, to join the brand content team at GWA Group. This role sits within the brand and marketing production department, responsible for shooting and editing short-form video content across social platforms, product campaigns, and digital storytelling initiatives. It suits a self-shooting content producer who is equally comfortable behind a camera as they are in an editing suite turning around polished cuts on a tight schedule.

About the Role

The Social Content Creator & Videographer will work within GWA Group’s in-house content team, producing video assets for product lines spanning bathroom, kitchen, and laundry water solutions. A typical production day involves planning shoot logistics, operating camera on location or in studio, and moving straight into post-production workflow to deliver platform-ready content. The volume and variety of output means this person needs to manage multiple projects across the content pipeline simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital distribution channels using professional camera and lighting equipment.
  • Operate as a self-shooter on location and in a controlled studio production environment, handling camera setup, framing, and exposure without a dedicated camera assistant.
  • Manage the full post-production workflow from ingest and rough cut through to colour grade, sound mix, and final export at platform-specific specifications.
  • Develop content concepts in pre-production, including scripting, storyboarding, and shot listing in collaboration with the brand and marketing leads.
  • Maintain organised media asset management across all active and archived projects, ensuring footage is stored, labelled, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Track performance data on published video content and use that information to inform creative decisions on future production briefs.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrated experience as a videographer or social content producer, with a reel that includes branded or commercial video production work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, with working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for colour grading preferred.
  • Hands-on experience operating mirrorless or cinema cameras, with solid understanding of lighting for both studio and run-and-gun production scenarios.
  • Experience producing content natively for social platforms, with an understanding of aspect ratios, compression, and format requirements for each channel.
  • Strong pre-production skills including the ability to write a brief, build a shot list, and manage a shoot day independently.

Why This Role

GWA Group is a well-established product company with genuine investment in building in-house content capability, which means the Social Content Creator & Videographer here has direct influence over the creative direction rather than executing briefs handed down from an external agency. The North Sydney location puts this role in a central hub for commercial and branded content production in Australia. Workforce Australia is placing this position with a company that has consistent content output across multiple product lines, so the workload is steady and the brief variety is real.

If you are a Social Content Creator & Videographer ready to own the production process from concept to delivery, apply now through Workforce Australia.
