About the Role

The Video Editor sits within Camping’s post-production pipeline, working across interview-driven content, explainers, case studies, and social cutdowns for international B2B brands. Collaboration happens with both in-house staff and remote editors via Frame.io, ClickUp, and Basecamp, with clear scopes and review rounds agreed before each project starts. The role begins in January 2026 and carries a stable monthly retainer structure alongside project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Cut long-form interview and talk footage into tight, educational clips that serve client briefs and respect the original narrative intent.
• Deliver complete, polished DaVinci Resolve timelines and final exports on schedule, ready for client review rounds.
• Identify key moments within raw footage and propose editorial structures in collaboration with the broader creative team.
• Integrate AI-assisted post-production tools for tasks including transcript generation, subtitling, rough cuts, and asset tagging, then report back on workflow improvements.
• Maintain Camping’s folder structures, naming conventions, and version control standards across all active projects.
• Archive all project files, assets, and licenses cleanly at project close, ensuring smooth handover to the wider team.

What You Bring

• A minimum of two years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio that includes interview content and branded content post-production.
• Strong working proficiency in DaVinci Resolve, with the ability to deliver complete, client-ready timelines in that software.
• Reliable command of English sufficient to preserve nuance and meaning when cutting interview and educational material.
• Hands-on experience with file sharing and review platforms including Frame.io, Dropbox, and Google Drive.
• Background working with B2B or tech brands is a genuine advantage, as is familiarity with AI-assisted editing tools.
• Candidates based in Colombia or Venezuela are particularly welcome as part of a growing regional collaborator network.
