About the Role

The Bilingual Assistant Video Editor works inside the Creative team at Digital Media Management, a full-service content studio that produces social media campaigns for movie studios, television networks, and streaming services. Day-to-day work involves ingesting raw footage, cutting clips for social distribution, syncing audio, adding subtitles, and preparing final deliverables for clients and senior editors. Projects range across entertainment marketing, so familiarity with social-first post-production workflow is more relevant here than long-form experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ingest, sync, and organize raw footage from client deliveries, maintaining media management standards across all project files throughout the post-production workflow.
• Cut and reformat video content for Instagram, Stories, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms, adapting frame sizes and durations to meet each platform’s technical specifications.
• Create GIFs, looped videos, and short clips optimized for social media distribution, working from long-form client footage provided at intake.
• Insert subtitles into cut clips and create thumbnails adjusted to platform standards, ensuring accessibility and visual consistency across deliverables.
• Assist Art Directors, Motion Designers, and senior Video Editors with project organization, file handoffs, and feedback integration from both internal creatives and clients.
• Manage the asset pipeline from initial intake through to final client delivery, tracking versions and ensuring nothing falls through in a multi-project environment.

What You Bring

• Three or more years of experience editing and delivering video assets, either independently or within a studio or agency post environment.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1 level or higher, given the bilingual demands of client-facing work and internal team communication.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Media Encoder, with working knowledge of Final Cut Pro and Mac OS.
• Hands-on experience with output and delivery processes, including preparing media for client review and editor handoff.
• Strong organizational discipline and attention to detail suited to managing multiple concurrent social media content deliverables.
